Alexis Mac Allister hands Liverpool injury boost but Arne Slot given late scare before Chelsea

Chiesa did not figure in Liverpool's final two games prior to the international break due to a muscle problem, while Elliott is still in the recovery phase after sustaining a foot fracture during the September international break.

Elliott is back in light training but Chiesa's prognosis remains unclear, with Slot likely to be questioned on the Italian's state when he addresses the media during a press conference on Friday.

Alisson, meanwhile, is due to be sidelined until after the November international break with a hamstring injury, opening the door for Caoimhin Kelleher to deputise for the Brazilian in the coming weeks. Kelleher was not on the bench for the win over Palace due to illness but and is expected to line up against Chelsea on Sunday.
